We placed a local advertisement on the back cover of a magazine but this morning, I received an email lead from the app to show a home in a suburb of Phoenix that is about 30 minutes away. I was a bit puzzled as to how that lead found us. So, I called on the lead and spoke to the potential client personally.
I asked her how she found us. Her answer was ‘I have a BlackBerry phone and I searched the Blackberry app store for a real estate application in my local area. Your application came back as the only one.’
She went on to say, ‘So I downloaded it and started driving around. When I was in a neighborhood that I liked, I loaded your app and had it search for nearby homes. I found several that I liked and touched the email for more information button. Ten minutes later you called me!’
Needless to say, I was blown away to have instant results like that. I have since assigned that lead to one of the top agents in my office that made contact with the potential client and set an appointment to view six homes. And the result? A 24-hour turnaround and a signed contract!!
